The Burlington Hotel was built in 1891 with 12 rooms for workers and passengers of the Burlington Northern Railroad. The building is listed on the Wisconsin Register of Historical Sites, and was added to
the National Register of Historical Sites in 1982.
Located in Wisconsin's popular Buffalo County!
Whether you are passing through our quaint river town looking for a unique place to rest your head or a local in search of a neighborhood meeting spot for drinks and conversation, you will enjoy the authentic feel of the building and a warm welcome.
Many of the building's original features are in the hotel,
bar, and shop, alongside numerous updates.
Modern amenities have been added in a thoughtful manner to harmonize with the ambiance of the period.
The full-service bar re-opened in June 2021 serves mixed drinks, wine, beer, soda, other fun drinks & snacks. The bar has thirty bottled beer choices, and all sorts of selzers, coolers, liquor & wine.

Having a special event and need space? From business meetings to leisure gatherings to trivia night, we can be host events in our bar, back lounge, or shop. This could be the perfect venue for your special event.
We've hosted some fun birthdays, bachelor & bachelorettes, Christmas parties, game nights, and discussion groups.
You never know what will happen at the Burlington Bar. We host a fun mix of local character with our interesting visitors! We host pop-up live music, trivia, drawings for drinks, and all sorts of fun!

Queen Bee Alma is a bright and cheery space.
It can be set up to be living room style or
set up with card tables and chairs
for work space, card games or classes.
Previously: The Emma Room is named after the previous owner's paternal grandmother. A favorite of hers was pineapple upside-down cake. Emma's favorite color was aqua, providing the basis of the color scheme.
Double bed sleeps 2 in a charming, quaint and clean environment. Rooms share 2.5 bathrooms. Balcony, kitchenette, and small TV room are available for shared use. Guests have access to free WiFi and enjoy the comfort of a geothermal heating and cooling system.
Previously: The Veronica Room is named after the previous owner's maternal grandmother and decorated with a lily of the valley theme because that was her favorite flower.
Double bed sleeps 2 in a charming, quaint and clean environment. Rooms share 2.5 bathrooms. Balcony, kitchenette, and small TV room are available for shared use. Guests have access to free WiFi and enjoy the comfort of a geothermal heating and cooling system.
Previously: The Fern Room has a hat theme and is named after the previous owner's mentor in millinery, since they used to make hats together.

Previously: The Belle Room was named for the previous owner's mother (her middle name is Ida Belle) as well as the French theme and colors. Belle means "beautiful."

Previously: The Queen Bee Room because of hosting teachers when the shop was initially opened. The owner wanted them to know they are special and leaders of their classes. Now this room has been updated and welcomes all, teachers or not.
Sleeps 4 - One double bed and 2 twin trundle* beds in a charming, quaint and clean environment. Rooms share 2.5 bathrooms. Balcony, kitchenette, and small TV room are available for shared use. Guests have access to free WiFi and enjoy the comfort of a geothermal heating and cooling system.
*(Keep in mind, if occupancy is 4 persons, this room will be filled with beds. Not a lot of extra space.)
