About Us

Modern conveniences

Staying at the Burlington

is like going back in history

but with modern conveniences!

The sleeping rooms are bright and

accommodating.

Guests love having access to

a common-area kitchenette

which offers late-night snacks,

coffee, hot chocolate and tea.

The balcony overlooking the Mississippi is a guest favorite for sunsets and morning coffee.

There's also a shared TV room

to watch a movie or your favorite shows.

Just added in 2024: a large private patio in the back yard!!

Have a drink while taking in the scenery!

River & railroad - best of both!

Coffee (or wine) on the front balcony

overlooking the mighty Mississippi

is definitely worth the trip!

If you're a railroad/train buff,

or you'd like sitting back and

watching the barges pass by

 on the river, you'll appreciate

the sights and sounds of Alma

(ear plugs are provided for light sleepers)!
